I Love Being Married to a Plant-Man in the Spring!

Allen came back from Apopka yesterday

bearing two yellow rose bushes

and two white mandevillas

for our front porch.

The jasmine drapes our porch year round,
although it is almost bloomed out now,

but I still have my gardenias, 4 rose bushes,

a coral dahlia, a deep pink geranium,

and now white mandevillas.

My oasis grows more charming 

thanks to my husband.

It's not a Hallmark Card...

My 89-year-old friend and beloved correspondent,Velma, 
fell and broke her wrist last Friday.

Hallmark doesn't make a card that exactly expresses 
what I wished to say, so...

I wrote and mailed this ditty to her today.

And this was what I hand-stamped on the front

of the envelope I sent her.

She has a great sense of humor!

(That's me lamenting Velma's fall)
